Having watched numerous videos and practiced the two colour brioche stitch over and over, I have to say I'm beginning to feel a bit more comfortable with the technique. Granted I don't know much yet, I still have to learn how to increase and decrease and how to correct my mistakes, but I feels as If I'm well on the way to becoming a fully fledged brioche knitter...........yippee....it's the hardest thing I've had to learn in a long time! As I was learning how to do two-colour, two pass brioche on straight knitting needles, I came across the method of knitting two colour brioche where you only have to make one pass of the yarn per row. Even though this method is quicker, I deliberately decided not to learn this method first, as I want to be able to use commercial knitting patterns which use the more 'complicated' method. I'm really glad I made this decision, as two colour brioche becomes easier to learn if you know how to double knit, can do single colour brioche and know how to double knit. Two colour one pass brioche becomes easier to understand if you know how to do two pass two colour brioche.
