I was out and about today hoping to find some boxing day bargains. It didn't take long t discover there wasn't a bargain to be had in sight within my vicinity, so I decided to have a browse around my local TK Maxx which has bargains all year round. For those who don't know, TK Maxx is a designer discount shop that sells, clothes, accessories, toiletries etc. My happy find today was a 1 litre bottle of Savon Liquide De Marseille, a type of French milled liquid soap. For all of you that are on the ball when it comes to soap you'll know that French milled soap is considered to be the best in the world. It is an oil based soap which is milled to give a rich, smooth, lather without having to add nasty additives. With the usual price of this soap being approx. £16 per litre, I was more than pleased to spend the bargain price of £7.99 L The brand that I stumbled upon today is Savon Liquide De Marseille. This is the third brand I've tried. The first brand I liked but didn't love, the second one turned out to be an imposter having discovered it contained Sodium Laureth Sulphite. This third brand is filling me with optimism. I'll be giving it a go tomorrow morning - fingers crossed it's the soap I've been looking for all my adult life! Watch the videos below to find out what milled soap is and how it's made. what is french milled soap? how is french milled soap made?
